You can turn off the motion judder canceller and ditch the soap opera effect when watching movies. Cinema Smooth makes high-end movies look great. Real 3D content (Monsters v. Very thin TV - fairly lightweight for a plasma - nice stand (stainless) and bezel (dark gray), but not as cool in my opinion as the LED version which has a stainless bezel.

The first thing I would like to say is that this Samsung UN24H4000 does not have any input ports on any side panel as depicted in the photos. All of the ports are on a squarish panel on the rear of the Samsung UN24H4000 and all face to the rear. I point this out because if you plan on using a USB device (such as thumb drive) to view media, you may want to obtain a USB extension cable, because if you have the TV against a wall, or in an enclosed cabinet like I do, the rear panel may not be easily accessible. (Note that a USB extension cable is NOT the same thing as a standard USB cable.

Where Samsung UN24H4000 separates itself is in the sound in these smaller TVs. With a big screen, you're almost sure to want to combine it with some kind of separate sound system (surround, sound bar, etc.). But darn it, I didn't want to HAVE to buy a separate sound system for a small TV that's going in the kitchen. Samsung UN24H4000 is the only brand I've found that comes with adequate speakers, which seem to be full-range as opposed to most others which emit treble and mids only. I wouldn't say this Samsung UN24H4000 sounds "great" (we do have both a Bose surround system and a Sonos sound bar in the house). But it has a nice full sound that's certainly *better than* good enough for watching - and listening to - whatever show we're interested in while having dinner or a midnight snack.

With Eco Sensor, your TV can intelligently adapt its picture according to the intensity of the light in the room. This technology measures the amount of existing light and automatically adjusts the brightness of the image on the TV.

I did all the research. Read pretty much the whole web site. Read the excellent wirecutter.com. Every single word written about tv's lately says plasma have better picture quality, dollar for dollar.
I really enjoy this TV. I think that the colors are vibrant and the blacks are dark.

Samsung PN51F4500 set exceeds all of these needs and more. After a little calibrating, it looks fantastic and the response time is even better than my Samsung LCD was.

The picture quality is great. I give three stars because the audio cropped out on me after 8 months.
Samsung PN51F4500  is a perfect replacement, and the picture is great. I had to add a sound bar and sub-woofer because the sound is not that great but in today’s market, that was expected.

You will not find an LED TV that will give you the brilliance and color that Samsung PN51F4500 will .
It is much thinner than my old Pioneer 50" Plasma was, and the Samsung TV gives off less heat than my old unit.

Find one if you can because they are getting hard to find at a good price, but you will not be disappointed with the PN51F4500 Samsung Plasma TV. Set the picture on Dynamic, and you will love the TV.
This new set is great, and I would recommend it to anyone.

Samsung PN64E8000 64 is our first flat screen. We have had it 3 months now. It included some sort of enhanced delivery/setup but all the delivery guy did was uncrate the TV and plug it in to make sure the thing powered up. Of course the stand has to be assembled and attached to the TV. Ports on the back are clearly marked. Your devices should be attached and powered up for the TV to recognize them but that is pretty much all you have to do for the initial setup.
Wonderful. Bells, whistles, sirens are all there and easily accessible. I think. Perhaps one day I will find them all, but for now, one would be foolish to complain about any element of this outstanding television. I think today's higher end TV pictures are all quite spectacular with this one surely being among them. If there might be a niggling down side, perhaps the built in sound is weak, and perhaps the electronic feature set is simply too cute by half. Nevertheless, an outstanding machine.

The Samsung PN64E8000 64 comes with a built-in camera and WiFi. The camera, built right in the top of the TV, allows I to enjoy Skyping with friends and family all over the world on the big screen. The wireless LAN built right into the TV makes it easier than ever to browse the web, update my Facebook and Twitter, download apps, and stream my favorite movies and TV shows. My web browser will also be powered by a dual core processor, making my web browsing experience better than ever.

Samsung PN64E8000 64 is great but the supplied glasses do have some shortcomings as you can see from the other reviews. We needed 3 sets so we bought one pair of the more expensive glasses to try out. They are definitely worth the investment. We also bought a Samsung blu-ray player which matched up easily with the TV.

I have owned multiple LCD TVs and Big PC monitors with all kind of features including 3D for both TVs and monitors. Brands like Vizio, Samsung, Toshiba, Asus, etc. I decided to buy one of these before this technology become completely unavailable. I was blown away after calibrating it for a semi dark room. And for comparison purposes not even old plasma panels can be compared to modern panels like this. You cannot never understand what the black levels do to your favorite show or movie until you see it for your self in your own living room, in other words not even watching at the store is a comparable experience. 

I switched to Samsung PN51F5300 plasma HDTV after researching which format provides the best color accuracy. Plasma are known for the screen glare, but if you are serious about picture quality you will not have a problem pulling the curtains at times during the day... and you will be blown away when watching TV at night.

Samsung PN51F5300 plasma HDTV is perfect TV. The blacks are lighter than I wanted, but the screen uniformity is absolutely perfect. It looks amazing with high quality content, and the contrast level, overall, is absolutely stunning. Lastly, the colors are PERFECT. It's really an amazing tv.

I took a chance on a 55 inch Vizio "smart" TV, which was a LED and many reviews boast about the impressive brightness and non-glare of the TV. It was $1500 and I had it for a week before sending it back. First, most of the "smart" features were clunky and I had them on my xbox or bluray player anyway. Second, I could not get past the horrible look of skin tones on the LED. No matter how I calibrated it, the skin looked washed out and without detail. I get brightness is important to some, but for myself if I'm going to spend the money I want picture first, with everything a very distant second.
